Tickets are still available for the Night of Giving. The 3rd annual benefit starts with a prime rib dinner by Culinary Concepts followed by a Christmas tree auction of trees decorated by local businesses. The Greater Smithfield Chamber of Commerce reports that last year $12,000 were raised to help buy toys, food and some clothing for families in need. This year there will also be a raffle for a beautiful tree by Sugar and Spice. The benefit will be held this Saturday at 6 p.m. in the commons area at Sky View High School. Tickets are $25 per person or $45 per couple and can be purchased at Lee’s Marketplace at the service desk.
