Election filings: Interparty challenges for three local legislative
Three Cache legislative posts will see an inter-party challenge in this year for the Republican nominations. Incumbent Reps. Jack Draxler and Curt Webb are being challenged by fellow Republicans, and in House District 4, Republicans David Butterfield and Teresa Theurer will vie to fill the seat vacated by Rep. Fred Hunsaker.
Draxler in District 3 will be challenged by Elaine Nelson, a former North Logan City Councilmember. In District 5, Webb will be challenged by Providence resident Chuck Bateman for the GOP nod and in November by Democrat Paige Pagnucco.
