Bobcats shoot straight in Boise

Sky View Lacrosse continued their preseason by taking all three of their teams to the Boise Table Rock Shootout. Varsity started out with a defensive battle with a local Idaho team from Eagle. They tied 3-3. Their next game against Boise, was a back and forth battle. In the last seconds Sky View pulled off the win 7-6, with a goal from Karson Fullmer.

They started off Saturday in a mud fest against Mountain View, another local team. Sky View easily won 12-4. Final game on Sunday matched Sky View against a very physical Timberline team and lost 3-8.

Sky View’s JV team went undefeated for the tournament. They beat Rocky Mountain with a win 6-1, Sisters 13-1, Timberline 11-1 and Eagle 7-1.

The Freshman/sophomore team, known as the Blue Devils, had a very good tournament also. They played all JV teams and beat Mountain View 3-2, Rocky Mountain 3-2 and had one loss to Woods Cross, another Utah team.

Their next games are Friday and Saturday in Jordan at the Beet Digger tournament. Varsity and JV teams will be playing. For more information and team rosters go to www.skyviewlax.org.
