Hockey playoffs began Wednesday night for the Bobcats as they took on the Hunter Wolverines. Sky View was lead by goalie Tanton Jeppson with 25 saves in a 3-1 win over a much improved Wolverine team. Ryan Reevs started the Bobcats out by scoring a goal early in the first period assisted by Ryan Carter.

Hunter then answered back with a goal of their own. The first period ended with the game tied at one. The second period started out with neither team being able to gain an advantage until late in the period. Tanner Gray then scored with an assist by Mark Burch.

Soon after Jake Hill stole the puck and made a great glove side goal to round out the scoring for the Bobcats. The third period was all about defense with seven more saves from goalie Tanton Jeppson to ice the game for the Bobcats.

Sky View will play Skyline next Wednesday night at 8:00 p.m. in Bountiful in the next round of the playoffs. Sky View beat Skyline earlier in the year but expects a much tougher game as Skyline is much improved.
