Smithfield woman a suspect in burglary, theft, forgery case

SMITHFIELD—A 20-year-old Smithfield woman was arrested and booked into the Cache County Jail on counts of burglary, theft and forgery. Loren Hansen was arrested by detective Wes Land of the Logan City Police Department on Nov. 19. She was released after posting bail. (Continued…)

SMITHFIELD—No one was injured in a two vehicle accident that flipped a postal truck on it’s side last evening. “The red car hit, broadsided the mail truck,” said Todd Elwood who witnessed the accident at the intersection of 300 South and 100 West. “You can see where it spun around on two wheels and then it just tipped over.” (Continued…)
