Utah cyclists raised $140,000 this weekend for Multiple Sclerosis research. The “Bike MS: Harmons Best Dam Bike Ride 2010” was a two-day, all-valley ride. Saturday, riders went as far north as Dayton, Idaho before returning through Rimchond and Amalga to the starting point at the Cache County Fairgrounds. Sunday they went south to Paradise, past Hyrum Dam, through Wellsville, Mendon and back to the fairgrounds. (Continued…)

“Here’s how it works: 4,000 gallons per minute is diverted from Summit Creek through a pipe, which runs about 50 feet underground before dumping into a cement vault containing the turbines. CACHE COUNTY — A new mosquito season has begun. Cache Mosquito Abatement District (CMAD) workers this week began checking areas of standing water for mosquito larvae and are finding high numbers present. A minor, 4.9 earthquake hit near Randolph, Utah at 5:59 p.m. Thursday evening. The quake was felt by people as far away as Salt Lake City. Logan resident, T.J.
